About Us

I am always thinking about the water and adventure. Can’t ever really get it out of my head. It has always been that way. I grew up in Australia when all the big surfing brands were still working out of a garage .It was a cool time in history, real genuine and we didn’t even know it.

 We did it all back in the day. Skateboard the concrete drains outback, windsurf the local lake in a thunderstorm, shape our own snowboards before you could even buy one and surf at the secret spot amongst the jellyfish. Since then from Bells Beach to Hawaii to Chamonix ,I’ve loved the stoke of the ride and have met a ton of people that feel the same. So to tell the truth Im always happiest when I have some kind of board to ride under my feet. I bet you know what I mean. 

I started Rough Cut Creations to make products that are for the adventure but also products to remind you of the adventure and inspire you to go outside and get it . Rough Cut Creations was born out of genuine experiences in the elements and that’s where we want to stay.

We are still small but as Rough Cut Creations grows our long term vision is to partner with organizations that help young people from challenged communities get out and experience the natural world and the joy it brings.

I believe this planet was made for us to enjoy and to ride . I have felt the Creators pleasure on me when I do just that . I hope you can too.
